Thank you Coyle Public Schools supporters for supporting our April bond issue. We look forward to earning your trust and being good stewards of your money. We had a plan to complete all projects before school starts this year but working with architects and contractors sometimes slows down the process. We will complete the demo of the old gym and school this summer so that we can use our security grant funds to install a perimeter fence and have grass growing prior to the start of school since this will be added playground space for the foreseeable future. We are working with contractors and insurance to start the roofing projects. Roofing will start later this summer and be completed by the end of the year. This is a project that can be completed during the school year with minimal to no interruption. The bathroom remodels will start this summer and we will work with contractors throughout the year to complete a set of bathrooms at a time. This will allow us to reroute students to usable bathrooms until the project is complete. We have estimated that the cafeteria remodel will take 45-60 days to complete. Due to the tight timeframe we are going to hold off on the remodel of that until May 2025 so that we don't have any interruptions to students' meals. This will give us time to do it right and align resources so that we can have the cafeteria completed early to mid July 2025.
