The Coyle High School Cheerleaders are selling PINK OUT shirts for the month of October. Please see Holly Sawatzky, Alisha Ferrell, or Ashlee Kelley to order yours. All orders are due on Thursday, September 14. Orders must be paid for at that time also. Please see attached image for more information. Forms will be sent home this week.
ALL SOFTBALL GAMES AGAINST OCA TODAY (TUESDAY, SEPT.5) HAVE BEEN CANCELLED.
If you signed up with Mrs. Larman to work the OSU Football Game tomorrow, please be at the high school by 3:00pm. Students names were announced Thursday. If you cannot make it, please contact Mrs. Larman (405-612-0467) by noon, so she can find someone to replace you. Students are to wear their Coyle Bluejacket t-shirts. Mrs. Larman has t-shirts for students who do not have one. They will change at the school before we leave. They need to wear tennis shoes or boots—no slides, sandals or flip-flops. Wear school appropriate pants/jeans.
Parents and guardians, if we do not have a free and reduced lunch form on file for the 2024 school year, your student will be coming home with one today. Please fill out and return to school Tuesday, September 5th. Every family that has returned a form by the end of day on the 5th or prior, will have their students names entered in a drawing for a Nintendo Switch. The drawing will take place on September 8th at the Fall Festival.

The PTA/Livestock Booster Club will be hosting the Fall Festival September 8th, 2023 6pm-8pm. If anyone would like to help work a game, donate candy for prizes, or donate baked goods for the cake walk please let Holly Sawatzky in the H.S. office know. Candy can be dropped off in either school office. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Coyle Public Schools hired Colby Cagle as the new superintendent for the Coyle School District for 2023-2024. Mr. Cagle is in his 22nd year in education. He served as an Agricultural Education teacher in the communities of Prague and Bethel. From there, he jumped into administration at Shawnee Public Schools for five years where he served as head of Middle School for the last three years there. For the past six years, Mr. Cagle oversaw the writing and curriculum development for Fire Protection Publication at Oklahoma State University.
He and his wife Shelley, who is the Elementary Principal at Carney, have a total of 8 kids and 6 grandkids with three living at home. Trenton who works at OSU, Nolan who is in 6th grade at Coyle and their almost two year old Easton, whom they adopted at birth.
Mr. Cagle recently retired after 21 years in the volunteer fire service and as a EMR. He is still a presenter and trainer and has earned several honors for his instruction both as a public school teacher and presenter.
Mr. Cagle and his family are thankful for the welcome they have received by the Coyle community.
A special THANK YOU to our donors that provided ice cream for our students today. There are no words to adequately describe the look on the students's faces when they found out they were getting FREE ice cream. THANKS again for making their day a GREAT day!!

Football Homecoming has been changed to Thursday, Oct. 5 due to conflicts with Fast Pitch Softball District playoffs. School Picture Day has been changed to Monday, October 9 for grades PK-12 so that students may ALL dress in their blue and white regalia to support the Bluejackets on Homecoming.
