Coyle Public Schools Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
We would like to update you on an important legislative update. House Bill 3958 was recently approved by the legislature and signed into law by Governor Stitt, effective July 1st. This new law mandates that any school employee who communicates with students electronically or digitally (such as through text, email, or any other digital means) must ensure that the student’s parent(s) are included or copied on the communication.
Although the law is now in effect, there are still some details that need further clarification and ironing out. We are actively working on obtaining these details and will provide updates as soon as possible.
As a result of this law, all school staff members have been instructed not to electronically communicate with students unless the student's parents are also included or copied in the communication. Therefore, you may notice that communications from the school now include parents in the correspondence.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we navigate these changes. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Coyle Little League Football Sign-ups are today.
Coyle School is having a Garage Sale at the Coyle Livestock Show Barn on Saturday, June 22 from 7:00am to 2:00pm. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. Items offered include tables, chairs, desks, ovens, dryer, large picture frames, equipment and uniforms for football, baseball, and softball. A more complete list will be posted tomorrow.
Students if you are going to be a junior or senior in high school next year, and you are planning to take concurrent classes at either Redlands or OCCC, you need to make sure and get enrolled next week. Some have already done this, but some are putting it off. If you do not get enrolled next week, there are no guarantees that you will be able to get into the class(es) that you want to take. Contact Mrs. Larman ASAP to make arrangements to get enrolled.

Stand For The Silent is proud to announce an exceptional group of students from Coyle High School located in Coyle, Oklahoma. During a Stand For The Silent Presentation, Kirk Smalley was so moved by the reactions of the students, he offered each graduating senior a $1500 President’s Choice Scholarship. The scholarship team will email the students to let them know what their next steps will be. They will also be sharing the news on several different social media platforms today. Congratulations again to these outstanding young people. You are great assets to your community.
