After July’s board meeting, the CPS Board agreed to accept the C.E.P. Child
Nutrition program which will allow ALL COYLE STUDENTS to eat FREE for the
2024-2025 school year. Another benefit of this program is there is NO need to
collect free/reduced child nutrition application. “This took a lot of extra reports
and paperwork, but it was worth the effort and we are beyond grateful that every
student can eat for free,” said CN Directors- Brandi Brown/Holly Sawatzky.
Superintendent Colby Cagle wanted to thank every parent, Sean Cummings, Tom
Ritter, and a few anonymous donors to help clear remaining student balances so
we could qualify for this Child Nutrition Program.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Janelle Miller and family as they recover from their auto accident last week. One of her biggest concerns was her incoming Pre-K class and we are working on plans and a process to start the year. We fully expect Janelle back in her room later this year, when she is ready. Many of you have reached out to see how you can help and I know several items are in the works with more details to come.
