PARENTS AND PATRONS-- We have received the following from the OSSAA (State Athletic Governing Board) about the Regional Games this week. You MUST order your tickets to the games online. The State sets these prices--not the schools. The State gets the money not the schools. Prices to the games online are $7 per night for regional games plus a service charge of $1.35. This is for everyone--adults and students. You may access the following link today for games this week at NOON. https://gofan.co/app/school/OSSAA If you wait to purchase tickets at the door, you will pay $10 per individual ticket per state rules. Four regional games will be held per day. The gym will be cleared after the first two games. If our teams should play at separate times, you will have to purchase two separate tickets. Please contact the school if you have any questions.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE LADY BLUEJACKETS AND THE BLUEJACKETS AS THEY WON THEIR RESPECTIVE DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS THIS EVENING, FEBRUARY 12. THEY ADVANCE NOW TO REGIONALS TO BE HELD AT COYLE FEBRUARY 17-19. THE LADY BLUEJACKETS WILL PLAY AT 6:30PM THURSDAY, FEBRUARY FOLLOWED BY THE JACKETS AT 8:00PM. COME AND SUPPORT THESE YOUNG PEOPLE AS THEY CONTINUE THEIR DRIVE TO THE STATE TOURNAMENT.

FOR MEMBERS OF FCCLA: NEXT WEEK, WE WILL CELEBRATE FCCLA WEEK. MEMBERS ARE EXPECTED TO DRESS UP FOR THE WEEK. HERE IS A REMINDER IN CASE YOU LOSE YOUR HANDOUT.

FFA meat orders are here in the agricultural classroom. I will be here until 8:30 tonight. Please pick up your orders as soon as possible please.

HERE ARE THE BRACKETS FOR THE DISTRICT GAMES TO BE PLAYED AT COYLE THIS WEEKEND. COME SUPPORT THE BLUEJACKETS AS THEY START THEIR RUNS TO THE STATE TOURNAMENT.

Senior Night for Basketball Players and Cheerleaders is tonight prior to the game against Davenport. Senior Night Activities will start promptly at 6:00pm. Games will follow starting at 6:30pm. Come and support the Bluejackets in their last game of the season before we start Districts on Thursday.

One more VIP note about the state games--if you do NOT order online, tickets will be $10 for district, regional and area games at the door. State Tournament prices will increase. There are NO ball games on Monday, February 7. Come and support our Seniors Tuesday night.

Just a reminder to come out and support the Coyle Livestock Exhibitors at the annual Coyle Pork Chop Supper and Auction. The meal starts at 5:00pm; the auction begins at 7:00pm. The meal and the auction are being held this year in the New Gym at Coyle.

The high school basketball games scheduled for tomorrow night (Feb. 4) at Ripley are cancelled because of the weather.

COYLE PUBLIC SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED TOMORROW, THURSDAY, FEB. 3. Coyle School Activities for Thursday are cancelled. A decision on high school basketball games will be made on Friday. The Coyle Livestock Booster (4-H & FFA) Pork Chop Supper is still scheduled at this time for this Saturday, Feb. 5. Make plans to come support these students and get a great meal! Classes will resume on Monday, Feb. 7.

The Coyle High School Bluejackets held their basketball homecoming on Tuesday, February 1 at 6:00pm. Senior Kris Boynton was named as the 2022 Basketball King. Senior Alisa Thomas was crowned as the 2022 Basketball Queen. After the homecoming ceremonies, the Bluejackets played the Mulhall-Orlando Panthers. The Lady Bluejackets won against the Lady Panthers in overtime. The Bluejackets dominated in the boys' against the Panthers. It was a good night to be a BLUEJACKET!! Pictures from the homecoming ceremony are uploaded to the school website (coyle.k12.ok.us). Go to the Menu (upper right)--find the Athletics Header--click on Schedules. The folder will be listed as 2022 BASKETBALL HOMECOMING. If you are on the school app, you will click on the Menu icon lower left corner, then click on Documents. Then find the folder named Athletic Schedules, click on it and locate the folder listed above.

Just a reminder, the high school basketball homecoming will be held tonight at 6 PM in the new gymnasium. The Bluejackets will take on the MO Panthers for the ball games. The ball games will start at 6:30 PM.

THIS IS THE OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION TO PARENTS AND STUDENTS ABOUT CLOSING SCHOOL ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 2 DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. At this time, no decision has been made about school on Thursday. That decision will be determined tomorrow afternoon/evening. Continue to watch the school app, the school website, the school Facebook page, and Channel 4 (KFOR).

SENIOR PARENTS--Our School Counselor, Ms. Wade, sent the following information to each senior if they wish to play sports in college. Seniors - any student athletes who are planning or even thinking about playing sports in college will need to register with the NCAA Clearinghouse. Attached are general directions to follow to set up an account. Please do this ASAP and let me know once you have created an account or if you have any questions. Thank you! Parents--with the possibility of inclement weather coming in on Wednesday & Thursday this week, the administration will make a decision regarding the closing of school no later than Wednesday morning. If the decision is made to close, announcements will be on Channel 4 (KFOR4), the school website, the school app, and the school Facebook page. If the school is closed, we will make the day(s) up on Fridays to be announced at a later date.
